Effect of Organic Load Rate on Aerobic Ammonia-oxidizing Rate of Tannery Wastewater

摘要:

以某制革厂污水站活性污泥为菌源,利用曝气设备,研究了不同有机负荷(OLR)对模拟制革废水氨氮氧化速率(AOR)的影响。结果显示,零有机负荷运行10 d后,氨氮去除率达到99.6%,AOR也逐步升高至5.6 mg/(gh),是高OLR(6 g/(Ld))下AOR的10倍。当OLR不超过2.4时,AOR仍保持在5.5 mg/(gh)以上,可实现氨氮和COD的同步去除。当OLR达到3.0时,AOR显著降低,不利于氨氮的氧化去除。

Abstract:

The effect of different organic load rates (OLR) on ammonia-oxidation rate (AOR) of simulated tannery wastewater was investigated in the aeration device, using the activated sludge from a tannery wastewater treatment plant as the seed sludge. The results showed that the removal of ammonium (NH3-N) was 99.6% after 10 days under zero OLR. Meanwhile, AOR gradually increased to 5.6 mg/(gh), which was 10 times greater than that at OLR of 6.0 g/(Ld). AOR remained at over 5.5 mg/(gh), and NH3-N and COD were removed simultaneously when OLR was no more than 2.4 g/(Ld). However, AOR was declined remarkably under OLR of 3.0 g/(Ld), which made a negative impact on the oxidation removal of NH3-N.
