Abstract: As a kind of textile and decorative material with a long history, leather's application in furnishings not only enhances the practicality of ornaments, but also highlights the unique artistic characteristics of leather.Through the study of leather used in furnishings, this paper summarizes the artistic features of leather in furnishings, such as coexistence of nature and changeability, contrast and harmony, practicality and beauty.On this basis, a new idea of minimally invasive application is put forward, which not only expands the scope of application research of leather in furnishings, but also enriches the research thinking of other application fields of leather.
