Abstract: With the development of the economic level, the individualized demand of consumers is increasing, and the leather products produced in batches on the assembly line no longer can meet the consumption needs of modern people. Therefore, it is urgent to meet the diversified and personalized consumer demand of consumers through the differentiation and innovative design of leather products. This paper explains the interesting design of modern handmade leather goods from the aspects of material category, pattern creation, modeling structure, color innovation and other aspects, to clarify the viewpoint through the case analysis of classic handmade leather goods. One new ideas for the future development and innovation of modern handmade leather goods have been proposed.
