发光细菌法评价常用有机鞣剂的生态毒性

Assessment of Ecotoxicity of Common Organic Tanning Agents by Luminescent Bacteria

摘要: 有机鞣剂通过与皮胶原的多点交联,使生皮转变为革,是一类重要的无铬鞣剂。本文采用新鲜明亮发光杆菌液,评价了常用有机鞣剂暴露15 min的生态毒性。结果表明,三聚氯氰类两性鞣剂F的EC50值为423.84 mg/L,醛类鞣剂的EC50值为:甲醛25.51 mg/L、戊二醛92.12 mg/L、噁唑烷154.17 mg/L、有机膦261.50 mg/L、两性鞣剂T 796.31 mg/L,即常用有机鞣剂的毒性大小为:甲醛>>戊二醛>噁唑烷>有机膦>三聚氯氰类两性鞣剂F>两性鞣剂T。进一步研究发现,有机膦的毒性源自其中的游离甲醛,两性鞣剂T的毒性主要受游离甲醛影响、且甲醛与其它组分有拮抗作用,而噁唑烷中游离甲醛与其它组分产生协同毒性效应。研究结果为制革中鞣剂的选用,提供了生态性指标。

Abstract: Organic tanning agents are important chrome (III)-free tanning agents in leather industry, which transform raw skin into leather by cross-linking with multiple points of leather collagen. In this paper, fresh bacterial culture liquids of Photobacterium phosphoreum were employed to assess the ecological toxicity of organic tanning agents after a 15 min exposure. The results showed that the EC50 of cyanuric chloride amphoteric tanning agent F was 423.84 mg/L. The EC50 value of aldehyde tanning agents was: formaldehyde 25.51 mg/L, glutaraldehyde 92.12 mg/L, oxazolidine 154.17 mg/L, organic phosphine 261.50 mg/L, amphoteric tanning agent T 796.31 mg/L. The toxicity of common organic tanning agents was: formaldehyde>>glutaraldehyde>oxazolodine>organic phosphine>cyanuric chloride amphoteric tanning agent F>amphoteric tanning agent T. Further studies found that the toxicity of organic phosphine depended on free formaldehyde in the tanning agent. While the toxicity of amphoteric tanning agent T was mainly affected by free formaldehyde, and slightly lower than individual formaldehyde for the antagonistic effect of other components. However, the free formaldehyde in oxazolidine produced synergistic toxic effects with other components, which led to higher toxicity in spite of low free formaldehyde in this tanning agent. These results would provide ecological indicators for the selection of tanning agents in the leather making.
