Abstract: Children's functional flat foot is one of the most common type of flat foot. The use of proprioception insoles to correct children's functional flat foot is a new active intervention method, which has a completely different principle from the traditional passive mechanical correction insoles. In this paper, 54 cases of functional flatfoot children were selected for the comparative test of proprioceptive insoles and mechanical gait correction insoles. By analyzing the arch angle, scaphoid scoliosis distance, medial arch height and heel valgus angle, the comparative data were obtained. The results show that the proprioception insoles has great advantages in biomechanics, material science and muscle dynamics compared with the mechanical gait correction insoles. There were statistically significant differences in the four indexes (P<0.05). Proprioception insoles is a development direction in the field of children's functional flatfoot correction in the future.
