铬鞣液中鞣剂的粒径对鞣革性能的影响

The Effect of Particle Size Variation of Chrome Tanning Agent on Tanning Process and Hydrothermal Stability of Tanned Leather

摘要: 以铬鞣剂为研究对象,研究了pH和温度对铬鞣剂粒子尺寸的影响;并以此为基础,研究了铬鞣剂粒子尺寸演变对鞣制过程和鞣革性能的影响。结果表明,对于铬粉质量分数为7%(Cr2O3为1.75%)的铬液,在25℃、30℃和35℃条件下,pH由2.5升至3.8,铬鞣剂的平均粒径分别从982 nm至2899 nm、1265 nm至3384 nm和1265 nm至3630 nm,相同温度下,pH越高铬鞣剂粒径越大;相同pH下,铬鞣剂粒径随温度升高而增大。铬鞣实验表明:随着铬鞣剂平均粒径增大,铬吸收率逐渐升高。当鞣剂粒径小于2000 nm时,呈现出较好的渗透性,铬鞣剂在革中的分布较均匀;当鞣剂粒径介于2000~3000 nm时,随鞣剂粒径的增大,革中铬分布的均匀性逐渐降,且随铬鞣剂尺寸的变大,蓝湿革的收缩温度呈现先增大后减小的趋势,当粒径为2700 nm左右时,坯革收缩温度最高(107.3℃);而当粒径继续增大至3000~4000 nm时,收缩温度则会由于表面过鞣而内层鞣不透而降低。相同pH条件下,随温度的升高,鞣剂粒径在增大的同时提高了铬的吸收率和皮革的湿热稳定性。

Abstract: Taking chromium tannage as the study object, the effects of pH and temperature on particle size of chrome tanning agents were investigated. Based on this, the influence of their particle size on the tanning process and hydrothermal stability of tanned leather was further explored. The results indicated that for chrome solution with 7% chrome powder (1.7% Cr2O3) , when the pH value was raised from 2.5 to 3.8, the average particle size of chrome tanning agent varied from 982 nm to 2899 nm at 25 , from 1265 nm to 3384 nm at 30  and from 1289 nm to 3630 nm at 35 , respectively, showing an increasing tendency. At the same temperature, the higher the pH value, the lager the particle size was. What’s more, at the same pH, the particle size of chrome tanning agent increased with the increase of temperature. Chrome tanning experiments showed that as the average particle size of the chrome tanning agent increases, the chromium absorption rate increased gradually. When the particle size was less than 2000 nm, the chrome tanning agent had better permeability and the distribution of chromium in leather was relatively uniform. When the particle size of chrome tanning agent was in a range of 2000 to 3000 nm, the uniformity of chromium distribution in leather decreased and the shrinkage temperature (Ts) of wet blue leather showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing with the increase of particle size of chrome tanning agent, and reached a maximum value when particle size was 2700 nm or so, Further increased the particle size to 3000-4000 nm which results in the Ts decrease due to the overtanned surface and the insufficient tanned inner layer. At the same pH, with the increase of temperature, the particle size of chrome tanning agent increased, while the absorption rate of chromium and hydrothermal stability of crust leather were improved.
