Abstract

Abstract: In the era of educational information 2.0, in view of the difficulties of learning, strict time and space constraints, high experimental consumption, and the rapid market changes in traditional teaching of leather-related majors in universities, a virtual simulation "Metaverse" center for leather goods was constructed by combining the requirements of professional talent training, and relying on the 5G high-speed communication, artificial intelligence (AI), VR/AR/MR virtual simulation, Internet of things, cloud computing and digital twin technology. It realizes the systematic, interactive and immersive situational teaching between teachers and students, the flexibility, novelty and creativity of personalized learning between students and enterprises, and the practicality, timely and economical teaching research between teachers and enterprises. It can keep up with the changes of the times, improve students' interest, meet social needs, and cultivate the outstanding composite talents with good self-learning ability, engineering practice ability and innovation ability.
