Analysis on the Teaching Mode of Light Industry Undergraduate Engineering Design under the Background of Engineering Education Certification

Based on the certification standard of light chemical engineering education and the actual situation of light chemical engineering specialty construction in Sichuan University, this paper analyzed the problems existing in the engineering design course. This paper developed a student-centered program from the construction of teaching materials, teaching means and evaluation mechanism. The practice proved that the learning ability of students could be improved through the diversified teaching reform including textbook revision, diverse teaching ways and evaluation system. These teaching methods also displayed the positive effects in meeting engineering certification requirements of the course.
