Research Progress on Self-healing Superhydrophobic Surface

  • The poor durability of superhydrophobic surface has limited its application in the field of life and industry, and by imitating living systems in nature, giving superhydrophobic surface self-healing property has become a hot topic in recent years.Taking the two key factors in the construction of superhydrophobic surface as the starting point, this paper introduces the research progress of self-healing superhydrophobic surface repair methods from the two aspects of low surface energy material supplementation and surface morphology restoration. Finally, the problems of self-healing superhydrophobic surface that need to be solved are proposed.
