Abstract
As people's demands for the quality of home life increase, emotional design has become an important trend in the design of leather home furnishings. This paper elaborated on the three levels of the emotional design concept (visceral level, behavioral level, and reflective level) and their corresponding technical approaches. Beginning with visceral-level’s visual and tactile design, progressing to behavioral-level’s functional optimization, interactive features and feedback mechanisms, and culminating in reflective-level’s cultural connotation infusion and unique brand identifier creation, this study conducted an in-depth analysis of emotional design methodologies in leather home furnishings. Finally, through the design practice, it demonstrates the application value and feasibility of emotional design in leather home furnishings, offering new ideas and insights for the development of leather home furnishings in the field of design.
