海岛与桔瓣长丝非织造布基超纤革的制备及性能

Preparation and Properties of Nonwoven Fabric-based Suede Leather with Sea-island and Segmented-pie Filaments

  • 摘要: 超纤革由于其出色的综合性能而备受青睐。目前市场常见的超纤革多以短纤针刺非织造布为基材,关于长丝非织造布的革制品却鲜有研究。为探讨超细纤维长丝非织造布应用于革制品的可行性,制备了海岛型和桔瓣型长丝非织造布及其革制品,对比探讨了海岛与桔瓣长丝非织造布及其革制品的性能。结果表明,海岛长丝非织造布及其革制品的拉伸断裂性能均劣于桔瓣长丝非织造布及其革制品,而柔软度、透气性能和透湿性能均优于桔瓣长丝非织造布及其革制品。综合对比之下,海岛长丝非织造布更适用于超纤革的制备。

     

    Abstract: Microfiber synthetic leather is highly favored for its excellent comprehensive performance. However, common microfiber synthetic leather on the current market is mostly based on staple fiber-needle-punched nonwovens, and little research has been done on the leather products made of filament nonwovens. In order to explore the feasibility of applying microfiber filament nonwovens to leather products, this paper prepared sea-island and segmented-pie filament nonwovens for fabricating their leather products. We then compared and discussed the properties of sea-island and segmented-pie filament nonwovens and their leather products. The results show that the tensile properties of sea-island filament nonwovens and their leather products are inferior to that of segmented-pie filament nonwovens and their leather products, while the softness, air permeability, and moisture permeability are better than segmented-pie filament nonwovens and their leather products. In conclusion, sea-island filament nonwovens are more suitable for the preparation of microfiber leather.
