Abstract: As a branch of plant dyeing technology, tea dyeing has the dual cultural attributes of plant dyeing art and tea culture, and has gradually developed into an important carrier of tea culture inheritance and innovation. This paper firstly analyzed the feasibility and application value of tea dyeing in leather dyeing by combing and studying the recent progress and application of leather plant dyeing. According to the tea dyeing process and related dyeing methods, the leather materials were dyed and the dyeing effect was analyzed and summarized. Finally, the tea dyeing process was innovatively applied to the design practice of leather products, so as to broaden the application of tea dyeing and increase the expression form of leather products, thus providing reference for the innovative application of tea dyeing process in leather products.
