用荧光示踪技术研究鞣制过程氧化海藻酸钠鞣剂的传质行为
Investigation of Mass Transfer Behavior of Oxidized Sodium Alginate Tanning Agent in Tanning Process by Fluorescent Tracing

摘要: 氧化海藻酸钠(OSA)是一种鞣制性能良好的生物质无铬鞣剂,研究鞣制过程中其在皮革内的传质行为,可为此类鞣剂的设计、制备和应用提供参考。本研究通过N-甲基靛红酸酐(MIA)标记反应和柱层析分离纯化,成功制得了高纯度的MIA标记OSA(MIA-OSA)。该标记产物在较长时间(1个月)和pH 7~8时具有较高的荧光强度,且相对分子质量及分布与标记前相似。将MIA-OSA用于牛皮鞣制,探究了其在皮革多个层级中的传质和分布情况。结果表明,MIA-OSA在鞣制1.5~2 h后可在皮革纵切面中渗透并均匀分布。该荧光示踪技术的构建,实现了鞣制过程OSA鞣剂在皮革中的传质可视化。Abstract: Oxidized sodium alginate (OSA) is a type of biomass-derived chrome-free tanning agent with good tanning performance. Exploring the mass transfer behavior of OSA in leather during tanning process can provide reference for the design, preparation and application of this type of tanning agent. Herein, highly purified N-methylisatoic anhydride (MIA)-labeled OSA (MIA-OSA) was successfully prepared through MIA labeling reaction followed by column chromatography purification. The labelled product exhibited high fluorescence intensity for a long time (one month) and at pH 7-8, and its molecular weight and distribution were similar to those of initial OSA. MIA-OSA was then used in the tanning of cattle hide. The mass transfer and the distribution of MIA-OSA in hierarchical layers of leather were investigated. Results indicate that MIA-OSA can penetrate and evenly distribute in the cross-section of leather after tanning for 1.5-2 h. As a result, the visualization of mass transfer of OSA tanning agent in leather during tanning can be achieved by using this fluorescence tracing technique.
