Abstract:
Certified reference material is an important basis for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the test results. And their application may include the calibration of a measurement system, assessment of a measurement procedure, assigning values to other materials, and quality control. The production processes of certified reference material (CRM) for dimethyl fumarate in leather were presented in this paper. The processes involved in sample preparation by simulated tannery process, homogeneity assessment, stability assessment, characterization of an operationally defined measurand using a network ofcompetent laboratories, characterization and uncertainty evaluation, and so on. In addition, the proper preservation and use of CRM for dimethyl fumarate in leather were described in detail.
