Abstract: Diabetic patients who wear specialized foot accessories can relieve and disperse the high pressure on their feet, thus reducing the incidence of diabetic foot ulcers and the risk of infection, ulcers deterioration and even amputation. Based on the guidelines for prevention and treatment of diabetic foot, this paper focuses on the design and development status of preventative plantar pressure unloading insoles and foot accessories by combing and analyzing literatures at home and abroad.
