Abstract: In recent years, leather products are more and more widely used in the life of the public at home and abroad, which makes the speed of leather products renewal also become faster. However, the consequent environmental pollution of leather waste has become more and more serious and cannot be ignored. In order to improve the use value of waste leather and the added value of leather products, this paper analyzes the compatibility between the fabric reconstruction of waste leather and bags by exploring the leather fabric reconstruction process and its application to the waste leather fabric through design and production, and applying the design to the appearance of bags so as to improve the development prospect of leather product design, reduce the phenomenon of leather waste, and pursue the sustainable development of leather.
