Abstract: In this paper, the white tanning agent DC, ACTAN FCW, glutaraldehyde and formaldehyde were applied to the tanning of rex rabbit fur. The properties of the rex rabbit fur and hair after tanned by these four organic tanning agents, such as the shrinkage temperature, washing stability, the softness and strength of the fur plate, the whiteness of the fur, the fiber strength of the hair and the microstructure of the hair scales, and the degree of fiber dispersion of the fur collagen were compared and analyzed, and the tanning effects of these organic tanning agents were evaluated.
