Abstract: This article analyzes the domestic and international development environment of my country's leather industry from the perspective of "environmental regulation" and "industrial upgrading". Domestic development is mainly affected by environmental protection policies and industrial policies. The international development environment is mainly reflected in technical and environmental barriers, animal welfare barriers and trade remedies in the field of international trade. On this basis, it analyzes various pros and cons factors in the development environment, and summarizes the current situation, trends and major problems facing the development environment of my country's leather industry.
