Abstract: Footwear board symbol language system is an important means of communication in footwear design and development.Although the symbolic language system is widely used, it lacks specific research.Based on the survey of footwear design and development departments of industry companies, this paper classifies, analyzes and summarizes the concept, classification, function, characteristics and value of footwear board symbol language, in order to provide management and research reference for product design and development.
