Abstract:
In the 1960s, a post-modernism style movement rose, which was a reactionary to modernism, including the design thoughts represented by pop art, deconstruction, minimalism and other styles. This movement affected all fields of design. Leather goods design, as a category of fashion design, also actively responded to the post-modernism thoughts. Postmodernism is a process of continuous development. Various design concepts derived in the contemporary era also have an important impact on leather goods design. The most important impact is to make the design more diversified. In this diversified trend, fast fashion and slow fashion represent two opposing design concepts, which have a greater impact on contemporary leather goods design.
