Abstract:
The experiment compared the effect of traditional Fenton method and electric-Fenton method with or without membrane on the treatment of simulated leather dyeing wastewater.The best treatment method was determined by measuring the COD and chrominance removal rate of dyeing wastewater.The results showed that in the electrolytic cell with graphite as the anode and the cathode,in the presence of Na
2SO
4, the COD removal rate of the dyestuff with non-diaphragm electric-Fenton for 20 min could reach 93.4%,which is higher than the highest 89.79% in diaphragmm;and the chrominance removal rate was 100%,which is higher than 98.70% of the Fenton method.It was an efficient and energy-saving way to treat leather dyeing wastewater.
