Abstract: Training cross-compound leather innovative talents is not only the need of national and regional economic and social development, but also the need of adapting to new engineering and new economy. It is also an important embodiment of the mission of talent training in colleges and universities.The training of cross -compound leather innovative talents is not only the need of national and regional economic and social development, but also the need of new engineering and new economy improvement. Taking the cultivation of leather innovative talents as an example, this article discusses the thinking and understanding of the cultivation of leather innovative talents. And the construction of the "3 +3 +3" interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary talent cultivation mode has been put forward. The model demonstrates the practice and exploration of the cultivation of leather innovative talents from the three aspects of strengthening literacy education, discipline frontier and experimental research.
