Abstract: In this paper, the comparison method is used to analyze and compare GB/T3903.4-2017 " Footwear-Test methods for whole shoe-Hardness " and GB/T3903.4-2008 " Footwear-General test methods-Hardness ". The main differences and characteristics between the new and old standards in terms of standard names, scope of application, test equipment and test procedures, at the same time, suggestions were made for the implementation of the standard, provide a theoretical basis for better application and implementation of standards.
