Abstract: With the promotion of the Ministry of Education, the engineering education certification based on outcome based education has been carried out rapidly in most engineering colleges and universities. It is a general trend that leather discipline should be included in the engineering education certification. And it is imperative to introduce the outcome based education into the reform of leather teaching as early as possible. This paper introduces the core concept and significance of engineering education certification,and how to use the engineering education certification theory to promote the quality of student training and improve the level of leather discipline construction.
