Abstract:
A gel synthesized from collagen and PVA, called GS, used for the preparation of soil aggregates. Compared GS with simple collagen soil aggregates(CS), simple PVA soil aggregates((PS) and pure water soil aggregates(SS), the experiments of water absorption, moisturizing and soil moisture conservation were carried out. The results showed that GS aggregates had the best water retention performance, the grain size growth rate was 18.0%, and the water absorption rate was 142.1% after soaking in water for 24 hours. The soil moisture conservation was compared with that of GS and SS. It was found that the effect of soil moisture conservation and heat preservation was obvious when covered with GS.
