Abstract: As one of the key factors concerning personal safety, slip resistance performance is critical to footwear. In this paper, 50-batche children's rubber and plastic slipper samples were chosen for sole main components qualitative analysis and anti-slip test. The factors affecting on slip resistance performance were analyzed based on friction theory. Combined with the injury severity and risk possibility classification, the safety risk level of children's rubber and plastic slippers was assessed and EVA slippers slip resistance safety risk level is finally assessed as ‘low risk’.
