Abstract: With the further development of 3D printing technology, its research and application in the field of sports shoes has gone through several years, which has played a positive role in the new products development and marketing management. This article summarizes the background of 3D printing technology, sorts out the application status of this technology in the field of sports shoes design and manufacturing. And it also analyzes its technical advantages, innovation promotion ability, futurity, current problems and existing limitations.
