Abstract:
As one of China's intangible cultural heritage, Yangzhou paper-cutting art is a typical representative of Yangzhou folk culture. We summarized and analyzed the representative works of Yangzhou paper-cutting masters, extracted the paper-cutting patterns by using digital means, optimized and evolved the patterns by introducing the theory of shape grammar. We studied the presentation effect of Yangzhou paper-cutting patterns on different leather materials by adjusting the relevant parameters of the laser engraving technology, and finally presented the design patterns on the corresponding types of leather garments according to the results of the study. The cross-border design practice of regional traditional paper-cutting elements and modern fashion products provides effective creative ideas and design methods for the development of national fashion apparel, and also has certain significance for the inheritance and promotion of Yangzhou paper-cutting art.
